'Wimps need not apply' is a collaborative show by illustrator Ezra Tatton and photographer Angelo Karle. They have developed a large body of works which are in conversation with one another, discussing the topics of testosterone, transness, (un)nature, violence, and masculinity. angelo makes black and white photographs as laser, risograph, or darkroom prints. ezra makes a variety of ink drawings experimenting with tools such as injection equipment he otherwise uses to draw up his HRT. This dialogue has culminated in a book and now an exhibition of prints used and not used in the book, as well as audio snippets from recorded conversations transcribed in the book. They will be doing a collaborative live performance on the opening night of the show, inspired by the themes of the work and involving trans healthcare harm reduction.
