Come and meet the GSA Students’ Association
- Wednesday 15th October
- Time: 5.30pm – 6.30pm
- The Vic (with a Teams meeting also provided as a dry space)
This is your chance to vote on key issues that will affect your Students’ Association, ask us questions, hold us to account and approve our annual reports and finances – all at our AGM.
This year, we’ll have three items on the agenda:
- Trustee Annual Report (2023 – 2024)
- Trustee Annual Report (2024 – 2025)
- Constitutional Amendment (proposal to amend Clause 12.5 to set quorum as the higher of 30 members or 1% of the total membership
This matters because…
- Your presence validates our AGM, giving you greater influence within your Students’ Association
- The proposed constitutional change will modernise the GSA Students’ Association, bringing us in line with best practice across the student sector
- It provides transparency and accountability through members approving our finances and reports
How to take part…
- The AGM is validated by a minimum number of students being present, so we really need you
- Decisions, like the constitutional change, require a twothirds majority of those voting
- All matriculated students can attend and vote
Save the date (15th October 2025) and make your voice heard!
