At the end of November, the GSASA is taking part in the Fight for the Night campaign to make Glasgow’s streets safer and show solidarity with the victim-survivors of gender-based violence within our own community.
As part of this period of action, we will be organising an exhibition that invites artists to consider themes surrounding sexual and gendered violence and ideas of repair, healing, resistance, and personal agency. This exhibition will take place in the GSASA Assembly Building Project Spaces during the first week of December and is open to all Glasgow-based artists working across any medium. As there is a quick turn-around for this exhibition, we will be asking for submissions of existing work.
The open call for the Fight for the Night Exhibition will be open until the 25th of November.
The exhibition will take place the week of the 2nd of December with a closing event taking place Friday, 6-8PM.
